Description
A drop of polished metal, swelling from a fine point at the top to a full, rounded base. The Aoos drops sit on the lobe like a bead of water about to fall, 22 mm long and light enough to wear all day. Their high polish throws the light back with every movement, so they look bold without a single stone. Wear them with your hair up and a chunky chain, as in our own photographs, or on their own with a white shirt.

Materials & care
Gold-plated 925 silver
925 silver is 92.5% pure silver, alloyed with other metals for strength. Gold-plated means a thin layer of gold covers its surface, giving the warm yellow colour for a fraction of the price of solid gold. Because the layer is thin, it wears with time and friction, fastest where a piece rubs: the inside of a ring, a clasp, the back of an earring. Perfume, sweat, chlorine and salt water wear it faster. 925 sterling silver
925 sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver; the rest is other metals, which make it hard enough to wear. It has the bright, cool white of silver all the way through, so there is no layer to wear away. Over time it darkens in air and on contact with some foods, rubber and cosmetics; this is tarnish, a surface film that a silver polishing cloth removes. Wear it often and keep it in a closed pouch, and it stays bright. [PLACEHOLDER: owner to confirm whether silver pieces are left natural or rhodium-plated.]
Care
A rounded, polished surface shows fingerprints: wipe the drops with a soft, dry cloth after wearing and store them apart so the polish stays unscratched.
