Cubic zirconia 6 mm · Handmade in Metsovo
Made to order · ships in 10 working days
Finish: 14k white gold
The simplest shape in jewellery, made with care: one round cubic zirconia, 6 mm across, held high in four claws so that light reaches it from every side, on a slim 2 mm band of 14k white gold. Chioni means snow, and the stone has the same white brightness. It is made to order in your size, from EU 48 to 60. For a proposal, a birthday that matters, or simply because.
14k gold is 585 parts pure gold in 1,000, alloyed with other metals; in white gold, those metals give it a pale, silvery colour. It is gold all the way through, harder-wearing than silver and suited to pieces worn every day. White gold is often finished with a bright plating that can warm slightly in tone over the years; a goldsmith can restore it. [PLACEHOLDER: owner to confirm the alloy and whether these pieces are rhodium-finished.]
Cubic zirconia, sold in Greece as «ζιργκόν», is a crystal made in a laboratory and cut with many facets so that it throws back the light. It gives real sparkle at an everyday price. It is hard-wearing but can be scratched by harder materials, so store pieces apart.
A raised stone catches on knitwear and takes knocks: take the ring off for sport and housework, and have a goldsmith check the claws once a year.
You have 14 days from receipt to withdraw, no reason needed, and 14 days from telling us to send the piece back. Engraved pieces and those made to your specifications are the exception. [PLACEHOLDER: to be reviewed by a lawyer.]
